Laboratory Services
Lab tests are used in different clinical situations. In some cases, they are part of preventive care and help detect changes before symptoms appear. In other cases, they are ordered to clarify the cause of new symptoms and guide treatment.
We provide both routine and urgent testing. Services are available through most major insurance plans, and self-pay options are also available.
Questions About Lab Testing
If you need lab testing or have questions about which test may be appropriate, contact the clinic. Our team can help you understand what may be ordered during your visit and whether any preparation is required.

Annual Physical and Preventive Lab Work
Lab testing is often part of an annual physical. These tests help assess general health and may identify issues such as changes in blood sugar, cholesterol, kidney function, liver function, blood counts, or other common markers.
The exact panel depends on age, medical history, current medications, and individual risk factors. Your provider will determine which tests are appropriate for your visit.
STD Testing
STD testing is an important part of preventive care for sexually active adults, including patients who do not have symptoms.
Testing may be recommended as part of routine screening, after a new sexual partner, after unprotected sex, or when symptoms such as discharge, burning with urination, pelvic discomfort, sores, or irritation appear.
The type of testing depends on the clinical situation and may include urine testing, blood work, or swab-based testing when appropriate.
Urgent Testing for Acute Symptoms
Laboratory testing can also help evaluate symptoms that need prompt attention.
This May Include Situations Such As
- sore throat
- painful urination
- fever
- cough
- flu-like symptoms
- possible COVID-19 infection
- vaginal symptoms
- fatigue or weakness with no clear cause
In urgent care settings, testing helps the provider confirm the diagnosis and choose the most appropriate treatment.
Pregnancy Testing
This may be important in the evaluation of missed periods, pelvic symptoms, nausea, abdominal pain, or before certain medications or further testing are considered.
Depending on the situation, testing may be performed with urine or blood samples.
TB Skin Testing
TB skin testing is available for patients who need screening for work, school, training programs, or other requirements.
If you are not sure whether a TB skin test or another type of tuberculosis screening is needed, our team can review the requirement with you during the visit.
Allergy Testing
Allergy-related testing may be ordered when it is necessary to clarify a possible allergic cause.
In primary care, this is usually done with blood tests that help identify sensitivity to common allergens. These tests can be useful as an initial step in evaluation.
Hormonal Testing
Hormonal testing may be used to evaluate conditions related to metabolism, energy levels, weight changes, menstrual cycle, and other hormone-related concerns.
This may include evaluation of reproductive hormones, adrenal function, and other systems depending on the clinical situation.
The type of testing is selected individually based on symptoms and medical history.
Thyroid Testing
Thyroid testing is used to assess how the thyroid gland is functioning. These tests are commonly ordered when there are symptoms such as fatigue, sensitivity to cold or heat, changes in heart rate, hair loss, or unexplained weight changes.
Results help determine whether the thyroid is underactive or overactive and guide further management.
Vitamin and Deficiency Testing
Testing may be used to evaluate common deficiencies that can affect energy levels, immunity, and overall health.
This may include vitamins such as vitamin D or B12, as well as iron levels and markers related to anemia.
Drug Screening
Drug testing may be required for employment, school, or medical evaluation purposes, depending on the situation.
